Overview

Overview

Respiratory patients often juggle multiple standalone devices — spirometers, oximeters, nebulizers - leading to scattered data, high costs, and frequent hospital visits. Prana reimagines this as a single modular, portable system for home-based respiratory monitoring.

Problem

Patients faced long waits for appointments, poor awareness of their own respiratory parameters, high upfront and recurring costs, and reliance on multiple uncalibrated, non-integrated devices - making holistic respiratory care nearly impossible at home.

Solution

As product designer, I led concept development, prototyping, information architecture, and interface design for a device combining capnograph, spirometer, oximeter, and nebulizer into one modular system - letting users buy only the modules they need. The final product moved from foam mockups through CAD, CMF detailing, and a companion app for tracking and reporting respiratory health.
